Entry Closing 
Entries close on June 3, 2007.

Late entries will be rejected.

All entries should be accompanied by player’s BWF number.
National Associations will be notified whether their players have been accepted directly into the Main Draw or if they are required to play in the Qualifying Rounds once entries are evaluated by BWF after the closing date. 
 
RULES & REGULATIONS
 
The Championship will be run strictly in accordance with the Championship regulations of BWF.
No player shall be eligible to compete unless he/she is:

Under the jurisdiction of a Member Association of the Federation Has been declared in good standing with that Member Association The Organizer reserves the right to decide on the numbers of entries admitted into the qualifying rounds.

Seeding of players shall be done by BWF according to BWF World Ranking dated June 21, 2007 and draws will be conducted on June 26, 2007 in accordance to the prevailing regulations of the BWF. Alternation of the competition schedule due to television coverage or unforeseen circumstances may arise and will be announced by the Referees.

Scoring System: The scoring system shall be in accordance with the prevailing regulation of the BWF.

Withdrawal: Notification of withdrawal(s) with reason must be given immediately to the Tournament Secretary by fax or e-mail. Withdrawal(s) made after June 26, 2007 for whatsoever reasons shall be subjected to penalty payment as per the regulation of BWF for Super Series.

Drug Testing : According to the regulation of BWF for Super Series, 6 drug tests will be conducted at least during the Championship.

Shuttlecocks: Yonex shuttlecocks will be used.  
 
REFEREES
The referee of the Championship is Keith Hawthorne (England). The fist deputy referee of the Championship is Junichiro Yamada (Japan). The second deputy referee of the Championship is Liu Qian (China). 
 
CLOTHING/ADVERTISING
Advertising on clothing and colour of clothing shall be in accordance with the prevailing regulation of BWF for Super Series.
 
IMPORTANT MEETINGS
The Team Manager’s Meeting will be held at 16:00 hours on July 9, 2007. The Umpires’ Briefing will be held at 17:00 hours on July 9, 2007. 
 
PRACTICE COURTS
Practice courts will be available from July 8 to 15, 2007. The Organizing Committee will prepare an overall equitable practice schedule, taking into consideration the size of each team. 
 
MEDIA OBLIGATIONS
All players must adhere to the request of Organizers to attend all marketing, publicity and promotional activities related to the event as per BWF regulation for Super Series.

All winners and runners-up must attend the press conference after playing their finals. 
FLIGHT DETAILS
Overseas competitors are kindly requested to inform CBA by fax:86-10-67143494 or e-mail to bdchnoffice@yahoo.com.cn of their arrival date, time and flight number, etc. at least 10 days before arrival. Transportation may not be provided if insufficient time is given for arrangements to be made.
 
Ground transportation to and from the venue will only be provided to participants staying at the official hotel.
 
VISA
If participants need to have entry visa to China, please kindly provide the following information to CBA by June 15, 2007 such as name, profession, sex, nationality and passport number, as well as where to pick up their visa. Please be advised that any detail of the name, profession, sex , nationality and passport number can not be neglected.

The rate is USD90 per night for single or double room including breakfast and Airport (Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport)-Hotel-Airport and Hotel-Competition (Practice) Venue-Hotel transportation services.

Associations are required to send hotel room requirement well in advance (no later that June 30, 2007) to the Chinese Badminton Association at fax number 86-10-67143494 or at email address bdchnoffice@yahoo.com.cn and to settle the payment for rooms with the Organizing Committee before departure.

Miscellaneous charges should be settled with the Hotel directly.
